[DeTomaso] rusty tires?

Browning or “blooming” (in tire speak) happens because today’s tires have an antioxidant in the rubber formula. While this helps slow the aging process (like drying and cracking, ala the old Pirelli P7s used to do), it leave an oxidized layer, that’s easily washed off with a good car soap. Yeah, it’s a pain in the back side, but a wash and tire dressing will make for a quick (albeit temporary) fix.
