[DeTomaso] suggestion re: vibration

Good point. input and output must have the same angle. Input angle is always 0 degrees from the gearbox. Very, very seldom the rear axle is adjusted exact to 0 degrees. That causes lots of vibrations. Can be seen easily on damaged decklid corners. A swap to CV joints solves all these problems. I have never seen damaged decklid corners on CV joint driven Panteras. Vibrations eat power. A swap to CV joints are the cheapest HP on the wheels. SACC Restaurations have a nice set for a reasonable price.

I have not disembeld the shafts but previous Owner may have? I belive this could be the issue and I guess I need to dig further into it. At the same time I will Inspect the Engine joints to be secure.
Thanks for all your advice!
Best regards Christer
I would defenitly come back when the issue is solved!

Christer,
Did you dismantle the two halves of the driveshafts? If so, and you
didn’t get them assembled exactly as they had been before, you could
have easily created an imbalance or out-of-phase condition.
