[DeTomaso] Spinning wheel stud

Just for discussion, 
while I would attempt a similar fix.  But given the wheels are "stud centered", the possibility of having the stud out of alignment with the axle flange hole could cause a problem.  I not familiar with the tolarnces so how far off would be a just a guess from me. For example, couldn't the misaligned stud torque out with the lug on the side of its tapper fit and then loosen up latter.  

(Just the concept of stud centering has concerned me by requiring multiple fits to be perfect)

That said, you can probably get satisfaction either by distorting the splined part of the stud, making it oval so it becomes a press fit once more,...
