> A similar type of thing happened to me,but it didn’t involve changing plug wires. I had to move my Pantera to move another car . It started fine and moved it out of the way and let it run, while I moved the other car. Then I put the Pantera back in it’s place. I drove the other car to give it a good run for about 2 hours. When I got back I had to start and move the Pantera out of the way again to return the other car to its place. It wouldn’t start, It backfired a few times but there was no way it would fire. After the mandatory cursing I stopped and thought out the cause. I fiqured the engine only ran for about 10 minutes, and it was about a few degrees above freezing out side and back in the garage it was warmer still. I figured it was condensation in the distributor cap. I didn’t want to take I out the seat and remove the front engine cover so I pulled out the heat gun warmed it up for a few minutes. and one spin of the starter and it was back to normal.
