This is contrary to what has been discussed on this forum and the Dino Ferrari forum in the past. Using oil appropriate for LS diffs or adding the modifier will lead to early synchro wear.
Posts there have described only adding the modifier if the clutches grab on application of power in a sharp turn. Adding the modifier REDUCES friction at the clutches so they don't do that-- you add a bit at a time until the problem stops.
I'm not a diff expert, but my recollection is that the clutches in ZF and Dino transaxles only engage when the unit it transmitting power and thus might be different from US domestic cars. So this might not apply to a '67 Mustang

Synthetic oils are TOO slippery for the limited slip clutches, so the
friction modifiers make it less slippery so the clutches will work
properly. RedLine also sell the additive separately if the oil is still
too slippery for worn clutches in the limited slip diff.
