Yes you remember correctly. Years ago SCPOCA had a dyno day and my car with a 377 stroker was run with and w/o the dog bone air cleaner. I can't remember the exact numbers but the air cleaner did perform very well. There may still be a write up about the event on the SCPOCA web site?

_And isn't that dogbone type air filter the one that doesn't flow enough even for a stock engine at high revs? __ _If I remember correctly, the dogbone was put on a dyno some years back and actually proved itself to be one of the better air filters in use on our Panteras. Mine works great on my stock 73L with Larry's QuickFuel 650 DP. I love the funky thing. People are always saying this about the
dogbone-- maybe to some folks it just looks too weird to efficiently flow air. _ _ Sent using Hushmail On October 2, 2017 at 5:49 PM, "Pantdino via DeTomaso" wrote:Reminds me of the Kustom Kars by George Barris in the 60's and 70's, like the Munstermobile and Batmobile. Finally, is that front end really going to slice thru the air efficiently, or at like a giant air dam?
