That¹s why Air Force hangars all have an industrial grey colored smooth
concrete floor.  Maintainers will tell you textures and colors make it hard
to quickly find leaks/spills and find dropped parts.

On the topic of losing small parts in a tile grid floor, I have read that
the incorporation of the pretty little color flakes applied to an epoxy
floor likewise create difficulty in locating small dropped objects.
