Agree about grey epoxy, however, I liked the old machine shops that had the
end grain wood flooring.

That¹s why Air Force hangars all have an industrial grey colored smooth
concrete floor.  Maintainers will tell you textures and colors make it hard
to quickly find leaks/spills and find dropped parts.
