[DeTomaso] Rear wheel bearing special tool

Emiliano,

There are at least two competing designs available. Here is one:

Both encapsulate the axle nut and use four vertical bars to turn it. The original Ford tool was a total POS that just had four pins. Invariably they broke off. 



Don't forget that the axle nuts are one-time-only use and should be replaced whenever they are removed. 

Or so 'they' say anyway. I know loads of people have reused them and I don't know firsthand of any problems arising from that. But they are cheap enough (surprisingly cheap actually) that I wouldn't take a chance....
