Paul,

Have you ever sat in a Mangusta?

They are perfect if you are 5 foot 9. Scratch that. The windshield is alarmingly close if you are 5 foot 9. If you are 6 foot 2 your forehead practically rests against the windshield. 

They have loads of fore-aft legroom, more than a Pantera. But the seats have to move back 6-8 inches or the windshield needs to move forward in order for the car to be as roomy as a Pantera, neither of which is possible.

Definitely a car to be admired from the outside.....
