The racing event was also important for a number of members who went and
watched the racing and enjoyed walking the pit area. The Lone Star Fun
Rally was a good example of coordinating the fun rally dates with a track
event run by a third party with less onerous requirements than getting an
SCCA license.

The racing event was also important for a number of members who went
and watched the racing and enjoyed walking the pit area. The Lone Star
FunA

getting an SCCA license.

Its financially infeasible and not prudent for the majority of
membership to subsidize a track event benefiting a very small
portion of the membership. Track costs and insurance makes it cost
prohibitive. Individual racers can get with the SCCA and race that
weekend.
This will be a great event not to be missed.
