[DeTomaso] Are upper rear control arms different?

Ken,
The ball joint has a slight taper and is an interference press fit. The A-arm slightly stretches to accommodate it. Then when the car is assembled, it is held in tension by the nut on the bottom which secures it to the top of the hub carrier...

One of the benefits of working in a Pantera shop.... I just checked
and yes the ball joint sleeve is tapered so they are handed. Plenty
of
used ones here on the shelf, give Larry Stock a call.

I've never had cause to think about that until now, but are they
actually different? Yes they are a mirror image looking at them with
ball joints in place, but can one start with bare a-arms and press
the
upper rear ball joints in from opposite directions?
My aftermarket adjustable upper rear a-arms are most certainly
interchangeable left to right.

of
one another....
