[DeTomaso] Are upper rear control arms different?

Thanks to everyone who looked into this. The taper makes sense, I guess that is all that holds the ball joint in? Since there is no vertical load on the upper control arm, I guess that works.

One of the benefits of working in a Pantera shop.... I just checked
and yes the ball joint sleeve is tapered so they are handed. Plenty of
used ones here on the shelf, give Larry Stock a call.

Guys,
The hole that the ball joint presses into is slightly tapered, isn't
it?

They look the same to me also, but I have never replaced a rear ball

position the ball joint. That might be a difference between right and
left. Right and left have different part numbers.

I've never had cause to think about that until now, but are they
actually different? Yes they are a mirror image looking at them with
ball joints in place, but can one start with bare a-arms and press the
upper rear ball joints in from opposite directions?
My aftermarket adjustable upper rear a-arms are most certainly
interchangeable left to right.
