[DeTomaso] Are upper rear control arms different?

Thanks to everyone who looked into this.  The taper makes sense, I guess that is all that holds the ball joint in?  Since there is no vertical load on the upper control arm, I guess that works.

  One of the benefits of working in a Pantera shop....  I just checked
  and yes the ball joint sleeve is tapered so they are handed. Plenty of
  used ones here on the shelf, give Larry Stock a call.

  I've never had cause to think about that until now, but are they
  actually different? Yes they are a mirror image looking at them with
  ball joints in place, but can one start with bare a-arms and press the
  upper rear ball joints in from opposite directions?
  My aftermarket adjustable upper rear a-arms are most certainly
  interchangeable left to right.
