[DeTomaso] Oil temperature

I think there are two methods available; oil to air and oil to water.
I know John Taphorn and others have run an oil to water with great
success. He will have to chime in to tell us how well it works in
open road racing.

As I recall, Dennis Antenucci runs a different style of oil to water
these days, but input from other long time Pantera racers I've talked
with have used air to oil very successfully.

The water to oil can be mounted any place you have room and can get
all the plumbing to. I think the most common is in the space behind
the passenger side. Air to oil limits the options. One is to buy or
modify the right rear quarter splash shield just in front of the right
rear wheel. Hall Pantera used to sell an off the shelf solution that
did that.

Other folks who have had success with different methods will need to speak up.

As I am reading responding in chronological order, others may already
have responded and I don't know it yet. ;)
