[DeTomaso] Were gas tanks mounted on the passenger side from the factory?

Was there ever a 1970 Pantera?? I have not seen any indication of such.

  I'd be surprised if that photo were really from 1970, as it's a Group 4
  car. 10 and 15" rims, sliding plastic side windows, hood tie downs, as
  you state, etc. These came out well after the pushbuttons, and well
