Meaningless trivia‹watched two episodes of CHiPs in the last couple of
nights. As many of you surely know, the producers would secure the rights
to use pieces of California highway (either being built but not opened yet)
or closed for some reason, to film scenes, and do a bunch of episodes at one
time so you see the same cars around the stars in different shows.

The first one I watched was called ³Dog Gone.² The guys are chasing someone
(as always) and coming up behind them is a white Pre-L with a black hood.
It looked like it might have the black below the belt-line treatment with
some lettering like a GTS. Couldn¹t tell if the rear deck lid was also
black. By the time they showed it from behind, it was pretty far down the
road.

The second show was called ³Moving Violation.² Same start to the scene,
right behind them is the black-hooded white Pre-L. It was much closer in
the shot this time, but that¹s really all you see of it.

Sorry, that wasn¹t nearly as interesting as the debate between the Canadian
(originally, anyway) and the US small blocks.
