If you mean the 1972 351C High Output, no.  The 1972 HO (and 1971 Boss 351)
were never fitted as original equipment to Panteras.  If you mean a
standard 1972 351C-4V instead of a standard 1973 351C-4V, there are only
minor differences.  Somewhere along the line, Ford dished the cast pistons
and went to the smaller valves in the D3ZE open chamber 4V head castings.
Other than that, they are essentially the same engines.
