[DeTomaso] Fuel injection system and brakes question

In 1985 I ordered a black (nero) one and made a deal with the local dealer
for the selling price,
when the car came in, it turned out to be the very first US black one and
he wanted to raise the price by $1,500
I told him no and left, 1 hour later I drove thru his parking lot in a new
red BMW with the universal salute
extending up thru the sunroof.   I think I was the lucky one that day, the
turbos did not seem to last very long.
I still think they were nice looking at that time, like a mini Quattroporte
