[DeTomaso] ENOUGH ALREADY!

Hey Rob and all....
It is fact that there are some serious problems with the way the current POCA Board runs the club we enjoy so much. From secret bank accounts to rude behavior towards members to archaic business practices, this just scratches the surface on the number of complaints levied against this board by its members. When you lose 10% of your membership in one year, there's a problem and it certainly can't be blamed on the members. I am sorry you were fed up before and appear that way again but member complaints directed at our current board just can't be labeled at petty B.S.
You and others (and there many) can choose to leave POCA once again but there are many of us that wish to change things at the top and make it a cohesive, friendly and open organization again. This upcoming election is the only way we can voice our displeasure and insert new directors that will bring about that change.

I was trying to
stay above this but I am compelled to reply.A This
petty B.S. is why I left POCA years
ago.A I spoke to another past
member yesterday who left for the same
reason.A You want to drive the
marque down, keep it up.
I rejoined POCA a few months ago because
of a regional desire to act
like a car club and enjoy our cars.A
I will leave POCA in another
heartbeat and just be a local associate
member if attitudes and
politics-as-usual remains in the Jr. High
era clicks of who is cooler
than who. A A
Frankly, nobody should give a crap about
who anybody else voted for.
The candidate did a fine job introducing
themselves and their visions.
You vote what you think is best for the
club and let everybody else do
the same and let voting members decide
without this drama.A The only
people who are showing class by not piling
on here are those running
for the offices.A I commend those
seeking office for not getting
involved but I seriously question why any
of you would want to preside
over such a dysfunctional minority that is
frankly making it hard for
the rest of us to justify why we still
care.

All,
I have just completed my POCA

I was pleased to cast my vote for

I encourage other POCA members to
do the same.
