[DeTomaso] NPC- POCA Account Balance (was Reno Fernley Raceway)

I think you guys are being a bit extreme.

Having plenty of money in reserves is a good problem to have. It
certainly wasn¹t by design.

Unfortunately, it can also make people say things they normally wouldn¹t.
How many of us know families that fought over an inheritance? And before
it¹s all over, the siblings won¹t speak to one another. Were they happy
before they inherited money they didn¹t earn? Probably.

I certainly don¹t feel entitled to a piece of the $125K. I pay my dues,
and that¹s that. If the dues are worth being in the club, I¹ll pay the
dues. If the club balance adds up to lots of money over time, that¹s
great too.

In my opinion, the board should use the money (wisely) to improve the club
in whatever manner they see fit. And they should discuss the situation
and take suggestions at the fun rally - to avoid rumors and to allow the
members to be included in suggestions - not to be fair to the members, but
to draw suggestions from a larger audience.

Please don¹t make this a negative thing.
