[DeTomaso] Stock A/C recharge - anyone try Red Tek 12a ?

The only reason I ever considered it was when I could not make the R134a
work in my car. R12 was my answer but that stuff is just supposed to be
very efficient.
Don't they use it in Canada? Their A/C systems are no different from the
US versions, are they?
