  Dear Rob,

I have used a mundane off the shelf stock replacement
from AutoZone made by Carter, I believe. It worked fine at the track
with a mild engine and did fine on the streets and highway.

If you've got a big engine with high output then it is now
very difficult to fine hipo fuel pumps. You cannot find the hipo Holley
fuel pump any more at Summit nor Jeg's. I did see in a recent catalog
from Competition Parts a generic hipo fuel pump for the Cleveland
engine.

If you really have a serious engine then the McRobb fuel
pump for about $300 is the way to go unless you want to convert to an
electric fuel pump to run the carb.

                               Warmest regards, Chuck Engles
