[DeTomaso] Flare fitting question

Tom,

First of all, an AN flare is 37°, and an the flare that is typically used for automotive A/C is 45°.

The condenser’s fitting is actually an o-ring fitting that has an o-ring-to-flare adapter inserted into it.

It is not uncommon for an A/C system to hold a vacuum, but not hold pressure (and vice versa).  I have had this happen twice recently.
