[DeTomaso] Aluminium intake manifold treatment

Asa Jay
I am monitoring the list in the archives and not receiving the mail direct.
This is all I get for the document in the archives. I don't know why, but
Mike Drew's attachments work and so do Kirby's, but yours and most others
are just gibberish when I try to use the link or open them. Any ideas?
Anything I can do different?
Thanks
Barry

How about ceramic coating the intake?
What about the heads? Could a cylinder head be ceramic coated and
then machined for all the stuff to go on? Interesting idea?
short order, I will take it Jet Hot and have it coated with
high polish aluminized ceramic coating. Good news: it won't
stain. Easy to shine up. More resistant to scratches and
dings. Bad news: Cost is $215 (full pro polishing is $600,
locally) and final appearance depends on how smooth the metal
finish is going into the coating process. FWIW.
