[DeTomaso] Transaxle swap

Corey,
It looks like an interesting project though it seems like a lot of extra
work (= more cost). One of the first things that concerned me was the
machining of the case to clear the frame and sway bar. While I was
looking at those photos, I didn't see an easy way to drain fluid like
there is with the ZF.

I'd really be interested in the final product, with proper bell housing,
clutch and shift linkage in place, all mounted and clearanced to the
frame and body.

Does it look like it's going to interfere with the rear body once it's
all assembled?
How do the axles line up when it's all in position?

I don't wish to dissuade you from the project, keep us posted on your
progress.
Asa Jay
