The other published test, if you can call it a test, was Mad Dawg losing
one of his elephant ear scoops during the BBORR.

The assumption being that they were pulled out by the wind.  The gasket
doesn't hold them very tight.

According to Mad Dawg's account, he was just under 300mph.  He had to slow
down briefly as he heard a thunk under his car.  He looked back and saw
tire tracks on a Corvette.
