Rob,
DB Electrical has what you need and they don't show as out of stock:
http://www.dbelectrical.com/p-11368-new-ford-mini-pmgr-starter-302-351-manual-transmissions-3223-sfd0012.aspx
Hyperlink might not work so you will have to copy and paste the whole link.
Make sure to ask for the free wiring kit.
You will have to buy longer studs as the flange is thicker so the stock studs won't work. They are readily available at Ace hardware etc. if you don't have time to chase them down, I buy the studs and flange nuts all the time and I have some I can send you at my cost, which is $10 plus shipping. Just let me know....

difficult to track this down this week. I am hoping somebody can give
me enough information to buy and have it shipped from Jegs or Summitt

Does a '71 have the 164-tooth flywheel? Does that change what I need
to ask for?
Is there a Mustang year and model I need to reference to get the
right
one?
I was looking through the archives and came across a few options:
A Powermaster:
[1][3]http://www.summitracing.com/parts/pwm-9604/applications/make/fo
rd/mo
del/mustang/engine-size/5-8l-351/year/1972
and an IMI
[2][4]http://www.hitorque.com/Default.asp
The links to the DB site showed out of stock.
