[DeTomaso] Tire Pressures

What the tire says is the maximum cold inflation the tire manufacturer 
will allow without voiding the warranty.
It has nothing to do with the pressure you should be using.
We don't have the car manufacturers guidance (it's long obsolete because 
of tire size and profile changes)
  so we work out street pressures and track pressures.
A rule of thumb for track pressures is 5 psi more than street pressures
  and then start working down until you can't stand the feel.
