[DeTomaso] Dumb Techno Question: Pantera seat problem

          Ach du Lieber!  We tried that, but the metal fractured in such a
way that there is not enough of a groove for a screwdriver to get a bite.
Cut off wheel and slotting the bolt ends tomorrow!   Victory is near.

Charles,

I think if you look at the end of the broken shaft you will find that it is
broken where a stop pin goes through the rod.  A flat bladed screw driver
will fit in the slot that is left under the seat.  Also as mentioned before
the seat lever lock under the seat is rather easily accessed with a flat
blade screw driver also. Just pry up.
