[DeTomaso] Pantera project for sale on E-Bay

It looks like a mid to late 70s system.  I think there is a box between the carb and manifold that lets the carb flow directly into the manifold until there is boost, and then flows from the carb, to the turbos, and back into the manifold.  I'd guess really low compression.  Probably OK for a small power increase?  I don't recall hearing how well these worked, probably not even close to modern turbos and EFI.

I saw this American GTS project for sale on E-bay Item# 380668370492 The
current bid is $23,557.00. The seller says the car is apart. It is also a
twin turbo. I am not a Turbo "expert"
by any stretch of the imagination but this setup just dosen't look right to
me. Somebody look at the exhaust manifold and tell me it dosen't look
really "Home made" and FUNKY!
