The original wheel undercoat was zinc chromate, but chromium is probably 
considered a naughty chemical these days, so your Eastwood material might be 
better than a std primer. Zinc chromate has the peculiar property of actually 
'healing' itself from minor scratches to afford better protection than 
usual for reactive materals like magnesium. Good luck- J Deryke
