Yes.  I lost interest when they stopped driving real cars... strangely
coincidental with the release of "Days of Thunder".  Another movie
with Tom Cruise but without Pantera content.  Blegh.  But it was
always a race with unwritten rules that were capriciously enforced.
It added to the drama.
