Judging by what I've seen so far, I'm old and had boring cars.
41 Mercury coupe, locking steering wheel
52 Meteor, you could have heat or defrost, but not both

63 Meteor, 4 dr, teeny tiny V8, auto
58 Ford, 2 dr hard top, 332 V8
65 Meteor Montcalm, 2 dr hard top, the biggest back seat ever 
72 Comet GT (new)
72 Honda 125 dirt bike
73 Cougar
76 F100 XLT 460 V8 (new)
74 Jeep, sucker would die anywhere, anytime
80 Bronco 400 V8 (new)
76 Lincoln Coupe 460 V8 boat
84 Topaz, junk (new)
86 Crown Vic
88 Crown Vic
92 T-Bird
96 Crown Vic
94 Chev suv (ouch)
97 Chev short box PU (ouch) (new)
99 F150 Supercab (new)
98 Explorer EB (new)
03 Escape
06 Explorer EB (new)
08 F150 supercab, totalled, would fly, bad landing.
10 F150 supercab, (new), still got it
73 Pantera, 1st Pantera I had ever seen, mine forever, Drove it home
(Calgary) from Castle Rock

don't be so negative about the current crop of cars!  First, a Honda Accord
is probably faster than my 1969 mustang.  Just has no soul.  Second, look at
camaros, corvettes, mustangs, and some of the current mopars - they actually
are pretty cool.  And third, a lot of the younger crowd really enjoys their
import crap (miatas, supras, etc) - not my thing, but maybe what they will
be excited about in 20 yrs.
The hard part is that anyone with an interest can work on an old car.  Who
is going to be able to restore a 2012 porsche, with engine managment
computers, transmission computers, heat/radio control modules, computer
controlled shocks, rollbars, and steering?  Plus, when you're all done, you
have a really expensive car that looks like a VW Beetle and sounds like a
hoover vacuum!!
