I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the Silverstone Classic at the end of last month.
What a difference compared with Laguna Seca-- twice as many race and club corral cars, rock concerts in the evening, drag racing, a Spitfire flyover.  And they line the cars up for pregrid where you can actually walk around them and watch them start up and pull out. Then it's just a few minutes walk to where you can see them well on the track.

And check out the video I shot thru the fence between the pits and track-- impossible at Laguna unless you have a Press pass.

At the end are some shots of bent fenders-- these guys drive the cars hard.
