BTW, I like the look of your louvers.  I don't like the spoiler, but the
slats help even out the styling.  Maybe I'll like the spoiler too once you
get it back on your car.

I have had the new style decklid latch in my car since 1985.
Never a sign of the decklid hitting on the corners.
Never. Ever.
Even after track days and slicks and spins and... well, you get the idea.
I would defy you to say I baby my car.
