[DeTomaso] FUN RALLY - EAST?

5 real GT5-S cars within 10 miles of where I am...have only seen about 40-50 of the earlier cars, so that means there are probably at least 100-200 in the DC area.
The rally should take place at whatever location the organizer sees fit since they are doing all the work.
Many of us have very tight schedules, so maybe combining with an already existing event like the F1 race in Montreal, F1 in New York, Le Belle Mac in Pocono, US Zippo GP Watkins Glen, Pittsburgh Vintage GP, etc. might make sense.
I would be more inclined to invest time and $$$ into an event near a major city and/or racetrack rather than Hazzard County for it's geographic neutrality.

totally understood. All of us would like the rally in our back yards but
that's not reality. Like was suggested, most of the cars are on the west
coast so it only makes sense to lean towards that area. Maybe every third year
we could meet more in the mid west/east area???????????

country. I mean this is the 21st centrury America - people pay $10 for a cup of
coffee. They can save and splurge every so often to travel. (We were
signed up to go to the LeMans this summer - health reasons, we did not go)
