Bob,

Is your wing specifically an aircraft type wing upside-down to create down force versus lift?

I saw a show last week on the Dodge Daytona, and with what looks pretty small, they were claiming something like 600 pounds down force at high speed.

Asa Jay,
I have run my car with the wing on and off on the track
and it really does not seem to make a big difference
I do know it is high enough to be in the wind as there
are bugs on it at times.. I did try an Oil cooler below it
and no bugs so the area between the deck and bottom
of the wing seems to get little air...and the cooler did not
work in that location

I might have to run the car faster to get it to really work
Most tracks are 130-140mph.. Firebird 155mph.. Silver State
I was only allowed to go 165 but hit 166 trying to hold it close
My guess is the car will do High 180's or low 190's with the taller
gear and I might have to take out my baby 7000 rpm chip:)

I think the front of the car is more critical on a Pantera
in respect to downforce.. I have a GTS chin spoiler with
an added piece of plexiglass material to give it a little more bite

To like or dislike my wing.. seems like I get a mixed field
I always liked the winged Can-am cars such as the UOP Shadow
cars and that inspired my so called creation... some of my fellow
PCNC members just like it as a portable Bar to place their drinks:)

Bob Benson #3 winged Pantera
