You've reached a false conclusion.   Due to the differences in the front 
and rear calipers/rotors, and the front/rear weight distribution, optimal 
braking won't necessarily be realized with even pressure front to rear, or 
increased pressure in the front.   The stock setup relied on increased pressure 
to the rear for optimized braking.   So rather than chasing numbers, you 
should be evaluating braking performance.   You can fiddle around with the 
adjustment to make the car behave the way you want it to, and once you're happy 
with it, whatever the numbers are, they are.   They shouldn't be used 
arbitrarily; instead, once you find a setting you're happy with,   you can then 
modify it away from that setting to account for changing conditions on the 
track, degradation of braking performance at one end of the car, etc.
