[DeTomaso] Good three-wire alternator?

To put things into perspective and have some facts out there...

My 200 amp 3G case is no larger than the original. As I said, the size is
EXACTLY the same. No bigger, no smaller.
I don't have room to put anything bigger. It bolted right in.

It has a single V pulley. Yes, as I said, this can be a problem. I looked
at putting a twin v-belt, but again... I don't have enough room.
if you REALLY need 200 amps for your 1500watt stereo and refrigerator
and.... Well, in my application, it is not.

According to Nations Alternator, the people that build it, the 200 amp 3G
alternator I have weighs an absolutely insane amount of no more than 3 lbs
over than the original.

Damn... I'll have to do something drastic now... like lose that much weight
myself?
Oh, I know.... I can leave the flashlight I carry around at home.
:-)

For the gain in performance in that small of a package, I'll take that tiny
gain in weight any day.

FWIW,
Kirby
