Plus, the tour basically goes through gritty industrial parts of Oakland 
and Emeryville--not exactly prime-time driving to be had there.   The fun is 
in the fellowship, and the shops we'll be visiting.   But the Pantera is 
superfluous on such an outing.

I drove the Pantera both days this past weekend to Sears Point, much of it 
via back roads, and took another drive the other day, giving a ride to a 
would-be owner for about an hour, again on beautiful back roads.   So it *is* 
getting used. :>)
