 Thanks for the memories Bob.   We stopped for about an hour in St. Louis to see some relatives and then finished the rest of the trip to Cedar Rapids.  I think the trip was a total of 14 hours.   Driving in the middle of a heat wave (outside temps near 100) with minimal functioning A/C will take your mind off of how the seat feel.  

Looking forward to the Phoenix drive.   I think I got the A/C fixed but driving through TX, NM and AZ will be the acid test.

Last year Tom Shinrock & I caravaned back to St. Louis together
then split up to head home from the Summer Summit. Both of us
made our 13 hour trips straight through & I only ate a few snacks
at gas stops - don't know about Tom. Wasn't as bad as I expected
with my stock seats but I think I'll appreciate the several day trip
we're all planning on the way to Phoenix soon. BTW, don't let my
Pantera brother Bud #3400 fool you....... he's MORE than a little
crazy!!
