Dear Mark,

 

 

                     Only if the research project is *simple* enough!   The
Research Department has no qualms with purchasing certain items if the
metallurgy of the part is correct for the application.   The Chinese have
tied up a lot of the common and rare metal sources we use for some of the
projects that need special lightweight alloys.
