[DeTomaso] Coolant Bypass

Ordinarily I do ARM for our controllers and I don't love PICs,
  but if you have a relatively simple function and can stay away from 
the twisted memory maps;
  you can't beat 'em for a couple of bucks.
You can even get 12-bit A-Ds in a 2 buck PIC these days.
