Yup.  Before the modification, they lost 50 HP compared to open
headers with 3" diameter single inlet/outlet Magnaflows which lost
virtually nothing compared to open headers.  After Mike's modification,
they lost 38 HP.   In later testing on my 403C, 2 1/2" single inlet,
dual outlet Magnaflows also performed very well.
