Submerge in what we call over here "Diet Coke" (Sugar free, the sugary stuff makes it all sticky) for a couple of days. 
Or if you want it done quicker I use stuff called "Milkstone Remover" that is used in dairy machinery to clear calcium deposits - It is still phosphoric acid but 40000 times stronger than cola and around 14 GBP for 5 litres.
