FWIW, I took my measurements from my dipstick tube which is sitting on my workbench at the moment.  Probably no need to go to all that trouble.

All,

I have a spare block with crank installed, and a spare dipstick and a spare tube.   If there's a need, I can mount the block on an engine stand (it's on a rollaround cart at the moment) and install the tube, and take measurements/photos?

Or are Larry's written measurements sufficient?
