[DeTomaso] Fwd: Re: NPC: SUV

I've driven both.  The last -new- Duece I drove was in 1986.   
Somewhere in the 90's they started moving to that newer UN version of  
the trucks (fully automatic trans, steering, etc).  I also had the  
privilege of driving a 5-ton, as it was the lowest rated vehicle that  
could pull our communication package.

Nothing like driving down a regular street in one of those, towing the  
load and having some dumbass pull right out in front of you like he  
didn't see you when you -know- he did.  I locked up all 10 brakes (6  
on truck, 4 on tow) and narrowly missed the dumbass while blowing the  
horn (think Firetruck horn).  I sincerely hoped I gave that dumbass a  
full load in his britches.
