[DeTomaso] Something to shoot for (NPC)

Seems to me that he should be hitting the pavement looking for a job instead
of fouling himself in the park all day.

I think of watching "hippies" on TV as a child (probably some of you) , and
while I was too young to understand their

concerns at the time, as I grew older I could identify with many of them.

This time around, I do understand and I can't identify at all.

IMHO they're a bunch of spoiled brats enabled by permissive parents.

Can't get a job with an MFA in French Literature, WTF! NO %$#@ Sherlock,
what kind of idiot majors in that.

What kind of lame ass organization loans money for a degree like that?

I live in Savannah, GA, we have the Savannah College of Art and Design
(SCAD), has done wonders for the city, but
the kids are to be kind ( idiots ), it is a private school at 38K per year.

You know how every High School has the two weird kids who have pink hair and
spikes sticking out of their face,
this is where they end up. Some are rich kids that parents pay to simply go
away, I have seen
student college cars such as a Audi Quattro Rally Car (a real one ), an
Aston Martin, 930 Turbo and even a Bentley,
then there are the others who look like bathing was the expense that came
after books and weed.

I posting an ad on Craigslist last week for a Production Asst. at $10 and
hour, to date I have received 42 resumes,
37 of which have graduate degrees in film studies. What a joke.
The truly sad part in that I have done this before and they are totally ill
equipped for the work, their professors
who are for the most part "Never -were's" versus "Has-Beens" have filled
their heads with such crap that talking with them
is just mind numbing. They are all geniuses, just ask them, They are
Producers and Directors and don't have the knowledge
of a Production Runner. Have never done anything and have an attitude that
surpasses those of noted Directors who have
a list of successful films under their belts.

The problem begins at home and the only people to be blamed are the parents.

I've said it before, in most cities, in order to adopt a pet from a shelter,
your home is reviewed and your history is checked out, but

any sorry SOB can squirt out a baby....just doesn't seem right.
