Michael, it sounds like you are talking about my barn find, #1488. I'm
eager to see what offer number you get to when you deduct necessaries
compared to what I spent on mine.

If that is what your intent is, we need to qualify 'Must Do' from 'Should
Do' from 'Can Wait' tasks. Must Have are safety and reliability issues.
Should Dos are ones that would make you cringe at the thought of any
reputable car guy seeing you drive the car. Can Waits are just that, get to
them later.  Naturally, the ones you list are Must Dos because you don't
know what you have yet.

In my case, the car did start, after all this, but barely ran. Not until I
swapped the carb and put in an MSD did it run like it was supposed to (for
a 40 year old).
