ear's most sensitive range. The C weight is from 32 to 10,000 Hz and is used
for sound level of musical material.

Maybe the rules have changed or are different back East, but all the western
tracks and the CA/NV state police used to use the 'C' scale, 'fast'
processing response, and an 'appropriate' range to set the needle sweep on
their dB meters. The 'A' scale reads differently. Curious- J DeRyke
